Zelfs beroemdheden komen zo nu en dan naar huis voor een eigen gekookte maaltijd. En gelukkig genoeg, zijn ze zo aardig om ons hun kookplekjes te laten zien. We nemen een kijkje in de keukens van de grote namen en we doen nog wat ontwerp tips op.

 Popzangeres en winnares van 4 Grammy’s Christina Aguilera deelt haar keuken met haar man, de muziekproducent Jordan Bratman, en hun zoon Max. Aangezien het huis voorheen van de familie Osbourne was, is het de keukens zeker niet het enige opvallende in het huis.

Christina’s keuken is een eclectische smeltkroes van stylistische invloeden. Middeleeuwse en oosterse meubels maken geeen schijn van kans met de modernisering van graffiti kunst, caleidoscopische tapijten en rood en paarse mettalic barkrukken die allemaal strijden voor de spotlight. Door de verschijning van roestvrij stale apparaten ontstraat er ook conventie. De creatieve visie van Christina Aguilera? Zou wilde dat elke kamer zijn eigen persoonlijkheid zou krijgen.  Eindelijk is daar de primeur wat betreft Kristen Bell’s keuken. De muren zijn verlicht door de verf Swiss Coffee van Benjamin Moore en Simply White op de keukenkastjes.

Voor de bekleding van de barkrukken koos ze voor dezelfde vrolijke stof die ze over haar poef in de woonkamer heeft. Meisjes-achtige accenten zoals levendige theedoeken, een gele theepot een groot boeket zonnebloemen maken de frisse  uitstraling voor de actrice helemaal af.

Met een panoramisch uiterlijk op de oceaan, is het vakantiehuis in Costa Careyes, Mexico, meteen te bestempelen als droom locatie. Schaakbord tegels voegt  een beetjevan een  harlekijns idee toe en vergroot het eclectische effect in deze keuken. Lichte, heldere muren en aanrechtbladen passen goed bij de vierkante getraliede houten kasten. En wanneer het niet cooler zou kunnen worden,  zijn daar de luxe RVS apparaten bij de deco-arch werkblad als een ruim kookeiland. Om het hoekje ligt de andere favourite “ruimte” van het gezin, het zoutwaterzwembad genaamd de zee. Geweldig. En Seal die hakf naakt pannekoeken staat om te gooien? Bravo!
